西湖原厂提价通知
New Hi Fi Price Schedules (effective July 1, 2011)
Once again we are forced to raise prices to account for increased manufacturing costs and component prices from our vendors. While we regret the problems that arise when a supplier raises their prices, we also take the evolution of speaker technology very seriously. Westlake Audio has always strived to build the finest loudspeaker systems and accessories in the world, and our commitment to that ideal is never ending. While most of our products don't reveal these differences from a visual perspective, internally and most important audibly, they have demonstrably superior performance to past versions in our extensive product line.
In the last few years we have been upgrading all of our models with the addition of "P.E"* Distortion circuitry and driver muffs. These improvements deal with the reduction of a new kind of distortion previously unrecognized within audio components that seriously compromises the performance of all audio equipment. It has been clear to us from our own testing and from the response of our dealers and end users that these efforts have been worthwhile. However, the price for these improvements has been substantial in both labor and materials. Therefore, in order to continue to evolve and offer these improvements in performance, we must make the necessary price adjustments.
All current orders as well as new orders placed before June 30th will be honored at the prices contained within the January 2011 price schedules. To retain this price protection, products must be shipped within 30 days notice of completion. Any orders received after June 30th will be accepted at the prices contained on the new July 1, 2011 price lists, which are attached.
We thank you for your understanding and we welcome your comments.
Sincerely,
Glenn R Phoenix
