Marantz SR5002 AV Receiver
The Marantz SR5002 digital surround receiver, produces 90 Watts RMS, sufficient for all but the largest of rooms. It is a high-performance, high-power home cinema receiver that offers outstanding surround sound quality, outstanding video conversion and multiroom with multi-source flexibility.
The Marantz SR5002 supports all Dolby, DTS surround sound formats, and SRS Circle Surround II. The on-screen display quickly takes you through the set-up. The 7 times equal power amplifier section, with high current discrete output on all channels handle each power attack of a film and offers excellent sound quality on music playback from DVD or CD as well.
This new SR5002 upgrade from the SR5001 has added:
- MRAC with high precision microphone for one touch auto speaker set-up, giving you the perfect surround sound balance from your 5.1, 6.1 or 7.1 speaker arrangement
- 7.1 Multi-channel PCM decoding for High Definition (HD) Audio from Blu-ray Disc or HD DVD
- HT-EQ (Cinema Equalisation) and Dolby Headphone
Highly accurate 192kHz/24-bit audio D/A converters handle the analogue to digital conversion, resulting in more faithful sound quality. The SR5002 is built to Marantz standards with refinements such as video conversion and HDMI(1.1) switching, a metal faceplate, video off mode and high grade components.
The multi-source, multi-room ability of the Marantz SR5002 allows you to select an independent audio source for a second room.
