Please be aware that this label is being investigated by JVC for releasing so-called JVC 20-bit K2 laser cut CDs in Asia which have been pressed in a factory in Southern China. There are only 2 known JVC K2 lines - one in TN and the other in Yokohama.
This label has also released a deluxe "2 disc K2 pressing" of the Ansermet Royal Ballet. Once again, there are some very troubling aspects about this release: first, it comes in a gatefold type packaging that is an exact reproduction of the Classic Records CD version and even includes the Classic Compact Discs logo and the US legal credit lines in English.
The inner groove of the Royal Ballet discs claims it is manufactured in the EU by Sonopress but the IFPI number on the disc is for that same so-called "K2" factory in Southern China. I have had the discs examined by the Sonopress compliance department and have been assured that these discs were not pressed by Sonopress.
