I have a simple system too, Gryphon Callisto 2200 integrated, Wadia 270 transport, Goldmund SRDA DAC, and Dynaudio C1s. The Venture Silver Reference was much better than the Siltech SQ88 I was using before. But I just brought a used pair of Siltech G6 Forbes Lake for US$2100, I feel its again better, so I am selling the Venture. Actually, the difference between the Silver Reference and Forbs Lake are not that big, Venture seems to have more base weight, but Forbs Lake has a really nice Siltech Mid-range which is what I am looking for.
