1,This is an excellent amp underrating in HK. It worth double price competitors level at least in terms of musical performance and build quality.
If you're British solid state amp users e.g audiolab seeking for replacement, never miss chance to listen it before your decision. With proper matching, it works so well with all kind of music and best match with bookshelf speakers like all LS35a, Proac, Harbeth and Spendor etc.
The brand/factory was typically Scandinavian character stays in a low profile. You will never know how high score it was rating by What HiFi if you don't visit Primare website. And you will understand gradually why it deserved such respect from those implicit but conscientious British reviewers when you have chance to live with it.
2, A truly powerful amplifier. The figure provided by the manufacturer must be understated.
Heavily built like a Volvo.
A30.1 has a sound characteristic something like valve amplifier but not too warm. This makes the music enjoyable and easy on the ear.
Generally, A30.1 sounds mature like a gentleman with good manners.
The music generated from A30.1 encourages you to play louder and louder to fully expose A30.1's strength.
In my opinion, A30.1 is a strong rival to equipments at the same price range and even those int. amp. and pre/power amp. combos cost twice or more.
3, 純粹個人意見，我覺得有些朋友是因為昇級換機，有些是買了二手機後再放機(趁價位高賺個"玩"字)再有一些是慕名而買而不合口味或不夾機而出售．無論如何以這個價錢而論Primare A30.1始終是一部好機(但不一定適合每人的口味)如你喜歡纖細的線條，帶點貴氣的高頻，清晰的音場和平衡的音樂，這部機會適合你；但如你要求拍心口或量感多的低頻和質感強的中頻，這部機一定不合你的要求(除非你用其他附件或喇叭調教)．而且這部機一定要配一些靈敏度高的喇叭和更換電源線才會有較佳的表現．如有朋友希望購買此機後有驚天動地的改變，可能會令你驚喜亦可能會令你驚歎．
4, YES...........要能量要打心口一定唔會係呢部囉........
如果用這部機聽歌,非常舒服好聲,配一對好聲而不淋的喇叭就更正
