昔日重来（Yesterday Once More）

    约翰·贝梯斯（John Bettis）是理查德·卡彭特（Richard Carpenter）在加利福尼亚州大学时的同学，他们在学校合唱团相识，经常在一起听唱片，写歌曲。贝梯斯后来成为卡彭特史妹的挚友。卡伦·卡彭特的好些走红的歌曲都是由贝梯斯写词，理查德谱曲的，《昔日重来》的内容如下：年轻时爱听收音机，随着广播一起唱心爱的歌曲。岁月流逝，如今再听到当年的歌曲，仿佛昔日又重来眼前……

    《昔日重来》于1973年6月上榜，名列第2，并获金唱片。
