Does anyone have any views re Rotel (1098 + 1095/1075) vs B&K (Ref 50 + Ref125/200.7) with a Swans super HT system (ie, 6.1s in front and 4.1s for surrounds)?

Also a couple of quick questions for Jon:

1. Jon are the phase plugs on the 6.1s actually seperated from the cone of the driver?

2. How are the tweeters on the swans isolated from the speaker enclosure itself?

3. Do you sell any of the F series (F1, etc.) or the 2.2s (not that I could afford or fit the 2.2s in my place  )?

回答的:Great amp choices, by the way...  

1. Yes. The 6.1's midrange may be the best-in-class midrange driver in all the Internet-direct brands. It uses a alloy basket, heavy phase plug set directly on the pole piece, Kevlar/paper cone, and special low-distortion motor.

2. The 28mm Danish-style dome is set on a base which is itself set on the speaker's top plate.

3. No, we have not redeveloped those lines for the US market.
