Ah Tai means "microphonic".

When the tube shows microphonic, you will hear poping noise from the speaker when you hit the tube. It more or less like a noise pickup transducer or a microphone.

麦克风效应，就是颤噪效应。
由于电子管内部机械结构不牢，当有外力作用时，将引起电极间的相对位置发生变化，从而引起电子管电参数的变化。这种变化反映到输出上多数就是一种不稳定的，时隐时现的“嗡嗡”声。用手敲击管子时（前面级的管），就有可能从喇叭中听到有敲击声。这就是麦克风效应。
