Diapason mod. 2A3 integrated amplifier is the expression of a long research through excellence in audio reproduction . Diapason large experience in the acustical field and R.A.F. high quality electronic designs are the starting point of a great project where every solution , part and component are choosen without any compromise . In exemple great care has been taken for the chassis made by high precision tooling machines in a special avionic alluminium alloy , the rear pannel shows the high quality connectors that are made from solid and gold plated . Inside the amplifier you can see the hand made circuitry layout using silver + teflon mil cable , non-inductive precision resistors and polypropylene caps that give signal the best dynamic reponse while in the power supply circuit , paper in oil caps have been choosen for their great reliability and filtering performances .
To improove bandwidth and low distorsion caracteristics , our output transformers are made with a 32 sections winding on a 0.01mm "C" core and as for power transformers and filter chokes , are potted in shielding boxes to avoid electromagnetic interference effects .
A glance at the electronic design shows the particular direct driven power stage , a solution that togeter with the inductive input filter of the power supply gives the Mod.2A3 integrated amp glorious musical caracteristics with an extremely wide soundstage , deep and firm low frequencies and a dynamic reponse you won't expect from a 4,5 W (ch) amplifier .
