接地良好
符合美标
可能是平衡电源,即初级经牛变为各1/2电压对称形式,中点接地。再配合全平衡cd机、功放、平衡分频器音箱就组合成彻头彻尾的平衡系统

Promitheus AudioBalanced Power SupplyWhat is balanced power? When 240-volt AC power is balanced, one side of the circuit has +120 Volts to ground while the other has -120 Volts to ground. Standard unbalanced AC power systems have a "hot" conductor and a "neutral" conductor only.
In a balanced power system, the voltages on the system's two output terminals are 180 degrees out of phase to each other with respect to ground. When this happens any noise on the hot is 180 degrees out of phase from the cold terminal therefore canceling each other. A balanced AC Power system works the same way as a balanced audio circuit but with higher amplitude. Both balanced audio and balanced AC incorporate phase cancellation or common mode rejection to eliminate noise. A lower noise floor is a resultant factor of the balanced power
Why do I need balanced power? In the modern day of digital electronics, there is a lot of noise being polluted in our mains. This power corrupts and masks our audio signals. The dynamic range of the entire electronic signal chain determines the quality of the final product in all recording environments. The presence of any electrical interference at all lowers the S/N ratio of the recording. This limits the subtle detail and realism of the sound or image. Low level signals such as micro-dynamics and micro-details are lost in the noise floor of the system.
Sound quality can also be affected by intermodulation distortion occurring as a result of the presence of ac noise in the audio or digital signal bandwidth. Even if the noise level is inaudible, it is likely that program material will be colored by the presence of electrical interference. Balanced power eliminates all of these problems because there is never ac interference present on the ground to invade signal circuits. Balanced power often increases the dynamic range of a recording system by 16db or more. When balanced power is applied, ground loops and hums problems; even subtle ac noise coloration becomes a thing of the past. The difference can be astonishing as the reduction in noise in the music brings out the inner detailing and ability to “see more” into the music
How is balanced power system (BPS) used? A
BPS may be located anywhere along the ac power from the wall and it’s used to power the entire system. Another method is individual
BPS for individual components. This is where the CDP has its own
BPS, the preamp has its own
BPS and so on and so forth. However the main benefit of the
BPS used individual is that its ability to isolate noise from individual equipments feeding back to the mains. This allows the individual components e.g. a CDP to be isolated from the rest of the equipments. Noise from the other equipments is isolated to itself only. For instance the CDP noise is isolated and clean up at the CDP’s
BPS and not being allowed to follow back into the mains. This way every individual component has its own
DEDICATED CLEANS MAINS to extract the full potential of the component. A main unit of
BPS feeding the entire system is a starting point in trying out the
BPS. However if opportunity arises dedicated
BPS in the system brings out the best in the system. This is because a
BPS isolates and cleans up the mains for your HIFI system from the wall. But individual components will pollute the mains within the
BPS system i.e. digital noise and hash. The main
BPS cannot clean dirty mains within the loop but only from the mains into the HIFI chain.
Other power conditioners and voltage regulator may be used with the BPS. It is also known that good power cord feeding the BPS does increase the level of performance from the BPS. This only draws that other company’s offerings such as Monster Cable, Richard Gray and Shunyata are highly recommended to be used in conjunction with the BPS as it will enhance the overall listening pleasure of the audiophile.
Recommend Usage of the BPSAt the moment, there 3 different BPS models that are the:
Opus 500
Opus Intermediate
Opus Magna
The Opus 500 is a 500VA capacity BPS which is recommended for powering individual components such as:
1)
CDP
2)
Turntable
3)
Phono preamp (Valve or Solidstate)
4)
Preamp (Valve or Solidstate)
5)
Single Ended Valve power Amps such as 2A3, 300b
The Opus 500 is also can be used to power all the front end equipment but individual
BPS is highly recommended for the best listening pleasure.
A review of the unit can be found at
www.desirableaudio.blogspot.comThe Opus Intermediate is a 1000VA capacity BPS which recommend for higher power components such as
1)
Small to Medium Power Push Pull Valve power amps (<65 Watts)
2)
Class A Solid-State Amps (<30 watts) and Class AB Solid-State (<60 watts)
The Opus Intermediate can be used to power all the front end equipment but again individual
BPS is highly recommended This unit address the need for noise reduction in our power amps where the last bit of music is amplify and given life to perform.
The opus Magna is the biggest offering to date and the hardest to make. It’s the company’s prime incarnation of the
BPS. All the sweat and blood is put into this unit to make it outstanding. Only few are made at one time. These are custom made to customers requirement and are made to spec to the customers requirement. Its power capacity is 2000VA but larger power requirement can be made tailored to the customer’s needs. Its recommend for higher power equipments like power amps or it may be used to power the entire audio system.
