 | Extremely high compliance in a MC cartridge. The recommended tracking force (VTF) between 1.0-1.5g. We can even track at 0.5g, but since 95% of tonearm cannot track at that force due to the friction of the tonearm bearing being larger, we have to settle for >1.0g.
| | To deal with low-compliance MC cartridge, tonearms need tight tolerance bearings and fancy damping thus increasing the cost and price. With our unique 'high compliance MC' cartridge, the requirement for tonearm is reduced.
| | Channel separation >35dB, our limited production MC is the only MC in the world to offer channel separation = 50dB.
| | Superior single magnet generator: we offer a largest piece of pure Alnico magnet, almost 5g and spans the effective length of the cartridge. An extremely large magnet offers non-compressed, highly dynamic and linear output. | | *No-Crosstalk dual discrete coils generator: the only such design in the world, our No-gap generator uses a proprietary dual discrete coils to ensure that Left and Right coils do not have any cross-induction, resulting in >50dB separation.
| | Small diameter but long profile nude stylus is used. The stylus is almost 1mm long, yet only 0.1mm thin, in a Super-elliptical shaped natural diamond. Keeping the stylus long and narrow allows the stylus to dig deeper.
| | Unique extra-fine copper wire with insulation keeps the coil gap-free to minimize hysteresis.
| | Full profile hollow cantilever. Unlike cantilever that has been flatten or forked, our MC cartridge maintains the cylindrical shape throughout the length of the cantilever for the most linear energy transfer.

As expected, with the unique and ground breaking measured performance, the playback of HCMC-1 exceeds every subjective performance criteria. Standard HCMC-1 compares favorably to the Koetsu Urushi, plus it has the speed and dynamics reminiscent of cartridges from Van den Hul and ClearAudio. Due to the tightest tolerance in our carefully developed coil and generator, the sound has very high density, resolution and extension. The huge magnet offers linear dynamics with no compression from the softest chirps to thunderous bass note.
