Decca
=======================================
I remember after a playback on one of the early digital recording sessions in Chicago, (Solti/ChicagoSymphony Orchestra) one of the woodwind players asking, "was that a digital playback?" on being told it was, he said "I thought so, the woodwinds and upper strings sound much cleaner". There was a fairly large anti digital faction but on many occasions we put on carefully controlled demonstrations and usually convinced people that digital recording were truer to the sound the engineers produced on recording sessions.(我记得早年刚开始采用数码录音,某一次Solti指挥芝加哥乐团录音,在大家试听刚录下来的片段的时候,一位木管组的成员问:“这是不是数码磁带重放呢?”
