後級的速度感是少數憑藉儀器量測就可以看出端倪的音響性能數據，Spectral在1998年推出的雙聲道後級DMA-360（8歐姆負載時輸出300瓦、峰值輸出電流90安培）的上升時間（Risetime）小於300 nanoseconds（十億分之一秒）、下降速率（Settling）在1.5 microseconds內至-40dB、迴轉率（Slew Rate）為600 volts/microsecond已經非常驚人了，2000年推出的DMA-100S更將迴轉率提昇到幾近不可思議的1000 volts/microsecond！

這個當然，功放做到這樣的數值，音箱也未必反影到，就像相機像素可以做到很高，但顯視屏就末必可以配合會到。
